About The Author:- Seemita Mohanty is an Associate Professor in English in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and has sixteen years of teaching and research experience. Her research interests include Sociolinguistics, English Language Teaching, Indian English Literature and Cultural Studies. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has several research publications to her name. She also translates from Odia into English. Till now she has published two books: A Critical Assessment of Vikram Seth's Poetry and Fiction (2007),and Different Women, Different Worlds: Ten Short Stories by Odia Women Writers (2013).
