Dr. Y.S. Rajan?The lead author of this book, Padma Shri Dr. Y.S. Rajan, is a space scientist who worked for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He served as Scientific Secretary of ISRO, Founder-Executive Director of the Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), and Principal Advisor of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was a Member Secretary of the Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SACC). Dr. Rajan was trained in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He has co-authored books like India 2020, Beyond 2020, and The Scientific Indian, among others.
