Lakshmi Narasimhan

Dr Lakshmi Narasimhan Ranganathan,DM (Neurology), DNB (Neurology), PhD, FAAN, FRCP (London, Glasgow), FIAN, MNAMS (Neurology) is presently working as the Director and Professor, Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College, Chennai. He is a globally well-known eminent teacher of clinical neurology. He has been the organizer of SHINE (Specialized Highly Intensive Neuro-Education) conference for 10 consecutive years, which attracts more than 500 neurology postgraduates across Asia. He has trained and certified a large number of DM Neurology students across the country. He is the state nodal officer for stroke in Tamil Nadu, under the TAEI program-SCRIPT initiative. Dr Lakshmi Narasimhan has received several awards and accolades and among them are the prestigious Fellow of American Academy of Neurology and Fellow of Royal College of Physicians, London in 2018 and Glasgow in 2020
