Dr Lakshmi Seshadri

Dr Lakshmi Seshadri, MD. Retired as Professor and Head, Department of Obstetrics, Christian Medical College, Vellore, Dr Seshadri is passionate about teaching and has been a beloved teacher for generations of undergraduates and postgraduates. She has been perceived and recognized as a thought leader among hercolleagues. Her 'Essentials of Gynecology' has become an iconic textbook. Following retirement, she works as a Senior Consultant Gynecologist at Thirumalai Mission Hospital, Ranipet, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Dr Gita Arjun, FACOG. With a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology spanning over three decades, Dr Arjun has garnered a reputation for practicing, teaching, and advocating evidence-based medicine. She brings to the book an in-depth knowledgeacquired from a successful practice, combined with the twinacademic pursuits of teaching and writing.
